Upload Benefit Guide = Implementation Done

Onboarding has never been easier

February 24, 2026

Every renewal season, your desktop turns into a graveyard of files.

SBCs. SPDs. Benefit guides. Quotes. "Final_Final_SERIOUSLY FINAL_v12" spreadsheets. Every carrier sends a different format, and every format means more time spent copying details into spreadsheets and rebuilding employee communications by hand.

That chaos ends today. With BEACON’s new Document Intelligence capabilities, you can onboard a client simply by uploading a benefit guide (instead of hunting down 15 separate plan documents).

Yes, really, any file

BEACON doesn't care whether you're uploading an SBC or a rate sheet. If the file contains plan details, rates, or contributions, Document Intelligence can read it.

That means plan documents like SBCs, SPDs, and COCs. Quotes and rate sheets. Benefit guides and open enrollment presentations. If it has plan data, upload it.

This works across all lines—medical, dental, vision, life, disability, worksite.

For COCs over 100 pages and multi-year rate history tables, we leave those to you—for now. AI will get there in time, but today these documents require the kind of judgment calls AI isn't ready for just yet.

Not just a flashy demo

A lot of AI tools look great in a demo—when the data is perfectly structured. But carriers send what they send. Formats vary. Tables span pages.

You don't have to change how carriers send files or rebuild your templates around Planyear. Bring the documents you already have, and BEACON’s document intelligence handles the rest
